About Us
We are the Nova Scotia Seafood Alliance.
An established organization built upon a very solid foundation that is dedicated to helping the shore-based sector flourish in a changing world.
With our origins as the Nova Scotia Salt Fish Packers in 1975, we have since transitioned to the Nova Scotia Seafood Alliance to better reflect the broad interests of our membership. We represent land based seafood companies of all sizes based throughout the province. Our membership base continues to grow and now includes members with a presence in almost every fishery.
We have 200+ Member Companies all of whom have fascinating individual stories and products. But we are one Nova Scotia Seafood Alliance anxious to increase our membership, broaden our voice and our benefits and maintain the same good policy initiatives which our association has become well known for.

Mission
We are the voice for Nova Scotia seafood suppliers, built on the legacy of the Nova Scotia Fish Packers Association. We promote, represent and advocate for land-based seafood buyers and processors across the province, for the advancement and prosperity of all.
Goals
To accomplish it's mission, the Nova Scotia Seafood Alliance will strive to achieve the following goals:
Grow
We aim to grow our membership among seafood companies in Nova Scotia. We will listen carefully to our members to understand their objectives.
Speak
We will speak to the issues and concerns of our members in a professional manner.
Engage
We will engage with the fishing community, the media , the public and Government.
Serve
We will serve as a platform to introduce the best in Nova Scotian Seafood to the worldwide marketplace.
