The NS Seafood Alliance Annual General Meeting will take place this year on Thursday, September 17th & Friday, September 18th, 2026, at the Halifax Convention Centre.
After an exciting day of Golf co-hosted by Sea Harvest and the Lobster Council of Canada at Brunello’s on September 16th, we will begin with our Annual Members-Only Membership Meeting running from 12:30 to 2 pm on Thursday September 17th, followed by an opening of Annual General Meeting for Members and Associate Members starting at 2 pm.
Come join for an exciting and informative round of speakers that will includes an assessment of the trade landscape, and a state of the markets presented by renowned industry expert, John Sackton and a focus on our province. Our evening social and mini-trade show will run from 4 - 9 pm for all registered Members, Associates and their guests - come by, have a drink and some appetizers, say hello to a few familiar faces and even one or two new ones.
We will begin with a catered breakfast on ,Friday September 18th, followed by a talk from the Food Professor, Dr. Sylvain Charlebois. We will then follow with a series of talks including Matt Symes who will help us understand the practical application of Artificial Intelligence in the shore-based sector, including real-life examples from our membership.

The 2026 Registration Fees are $ 100 for the first two company representatives, and $ 75 for each additional participant.
